Licensed Psychiatric Technician

LPT is a government license: the legal permission to work as a psychiatric technician in the four states that license the title (California, Colorado, Kansas, Arkansas), granted by that state's board.

It proves that the holder completed a board-approved psychiatric technician program with its clinical hours and passed the state licensing exam.
