The Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician credential from the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission, earned by passing a 150-question, 3-hour exam covering patient care, dialysis technology, water treatment and machine operation, and safety and quality.

It proves that the holder has been examined against a published standard - knowledge on a written exam and, in most cases, an observed practical performance - and has met the standard of Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission.
